To Heck With Hectic
One of those crazy, activity-filled days today. Rushing from work to lunch to work again (and taking care of a handfull of personal chores during lunch). Then a workout. Then, after a quick shower, to Highland for a meeting with our class team. After that, we'll think about eating.
A small confession: there was a time when I secretly took pride in the fact that I was a really busy person. Its a badge of honor in our hyperspeed society for someone to be so wanted that they have little or no free time for themselves.
But my prideful ways - I think - are vanishing quickly. I want to find a way to live a more serene, slower paced life; one that is free to recognize where the Kingdom of God is present, and to become a part of it.
Now, where did I leave those notes for the meeting?
