New Look

Been working on a new look for this space today. Not quite sure if I'm 100% finished, but I'm getting close to the end. (Took me forever to figure out how to get the header picture hosted so that it would show up...)

 

Anyone want to offer any feedback/constructive criticism? There's not much pride of authorship/bloggership here. I'm just trying to find a nice, clean look, so all suggestions are welcome.

 

Also, I'm not very literate in HTML, and I've been doing a lot of trial and error experimentation with the code in my template. Does anyone know HTML well enough to tell me how I can put my blog description along the BOTTOM of the picture?
