Solid Rock

I recently set up a subscription to Yahoo! Music Engine on our computer. Our whole family is having a blast playing around with it. There is something really cool about being able to call up just about any song you can think of and listen to it instantly.

One neat thing I've been able to do is listen to some music that often interested me, but I never got around to buying. The band Daniel s Window is one example.

I like the way some worship artists are putting older lyrics to new music, and DW does just that with a couple of older hymns. Take some really good lyrics from an old hymn, throw in a punk hook, some tight harmonies, and a few gangsta' style urban vocals into a blender, and frappe until well-mixed! The result? The very powerful Solid Rock.
