That Time of Year Again

Well, its that time of year again. Sheila is baking her now-infamous "goody platters" for our friends and some of the businesses where our friends work and there are piles - literally! - piles of cookies all over the kitchen area. This year, she is making tons of Christmas tree shaped sugar cookies and chocolate chip cookies with M&Ms mixed in. Fudge and a few other assorted things are also lying around the hose in pans, on plates, etc.

Any hope that I might have to sticking to any sort-of diet is pretty much shot at about this time every year. But, oh, is that good stuff!
